The Beautiful All Manor of Events

Joe and Sophie originally had planned their wedding for Mauritius, but after a couple of set backs due to Covid they decided to move their wedding to the UK to the beautiful All Manor of Events and we were so excited when she contacted us and that we could book them in for their wedding day.

It was a rainy Tuesday morning and we found our bridal party nestled in one of the Glamping pods getting ready. Lilly, Florence and Darcey kept us all very entertained with their antics - Which mostly included Florence undressing and running around the pod shaking everything that Sophie gave her.

Lacey popped off ahead of Sally and Sophie to get some shots of Joe and the other half of the wedding party arriving to welcome guests!

Joe and Tel (the best man) had a quick drink and it was not long before the marquee was packed with family and friends.

The Ceremony

The ceremony room was intimate and beautiful! A room we never knew existed at All Manor of Events, but what a welcome surprise on a wet and slightly cold morning.

You could feel the jitters in the air as everyone waited for the bridal party to arrive, all of the groomsmen were on top form keeping everyone entertained and you’ll get the extreme pleasure of seeing them below.

And just like that the music started and out through the doorway popped a very excited Florence and Lilly, followed Darcey and Albert and then our main bridesmaids Megan, Natalie and Sadie beaming brightly.

Then came Sophie and her dad eyes filled with absolute pride and tears - as they made their way up the aisle you can see the all of the emotion on all the guests faces.

The ceremony was short and sweet and the deal was sealed with a kiss. After the ceremony, the newly married Mr and Mrs Hills were welcomed with a shower of confetti down the aisle.

Everyone returned to the marquee where Joe and Sophie were surrounded by friends and family in a swarm of congratulations.

After I Do

Sophie and Joe are adored by their friends and it warmed our hearts to see the groomsmen gush over the girls. Oh our hearts! We made our way back to the ceremony room for group shots as it was still pouring down outside.

Florence did not disappoint anyone during the group shots, as she decided a flash was what was needed to make everyone smile.

Speeches were next! Sophie’s dad reminisced about the pairs younger years and shared some hilarious stories from their early years dating. Joe’s speech was full of thank yous and adoration his family. Then it was best man Terry’s turn for his speech, having known him for a solid few hours we were expecting a roast.

But he surprised everyone with a short thoughtful speech about his friendship with Joe and about loved ones who couldn't be with them. Tears were shed and plenty of hugs were given. It was unexpected, but it was so lovely to hear such heart felt words from this cheeky chap.

Time to Party

We moved on to a few pictures outside of Joe, Sophie and Florence before we returned her to the party! These two rocked all of their shots and were not afraid brave the wet and the dark. After we returned to the venue it was time to cut the cake and the first dance. (Can I just say Joe and Sophie have a kickass taste in music!!) Absolute perfection to listen to as they danced their first dance as Mr and Mrs!

Next up was the father daughter dance and can I just say we all cried. A lot. Sophie’s dad is such a gent and has such a big heart. After we’d all wiped our faces and pulled ourselves together, the party started!! There was dancing, pizza and lots of laughing that went on into the night.
