Saturday was the first time we have ever shot a wedding at Quendon Hall. The place was truly magical! The sun shone intensely all day and Audrey and Tom had the time of their lives!
The morning was busy, Lisa and Debbie the hair stylists were working solidly to create Audrey's beautiful, intricate bridal hair as well as the styling for all four bridesmaids. The girls looked stunning! Audrey's make up was absolute perfection and the moment she stepped into her spectacular dress the entire room was in awe! She was radiant, and infectiously happy. She really did take your breath away. Quendon Hall has a beautiful staircase and we managed to pause for a few minutes to capture Audrey's elegant decent.
A True Fairytale
As the ceremony started and Audrey made her way down the aisle, arm in arm with her doting, beloved Dad, Tom seemed determined to keep it together! He did well! We wanted to cry for him! The origins of their love story was actually detailed within the service instead of a traditional poem. It made the ceremony very personal and was a really nice touch. The two have been together since they were 15 making this year their 10th anniversary. Throughout the day it was very clear that their friends and family hold their relationship in high regard. The speeches were heartfelt and filled with sweet stories, not the usual roasting we typically hear! There was even a non traditional speech from the bride, paying tribute to Tom's dedication to her throughout the years. Team Lace and Lowe might have shed a tear or two!
Working at Quendon Hall
The venue provided so many opportunities for photos and the grounds are kept immaculately. We really enjoyed working there. We'd definitely welcome the chance to shoot there again! There is so much more we could say about this wedding but for now, we will let our photographs do the talking! Here's a few little highlights from the day!
