We’re very excited to share this next wedding with you – It’s super close to my heart as the bride is actually family! Made even more exciting by the fact that it was our first time at the unbelievably classy Swynford Manor.

Wedding prep at Swynford Manor:

It was a chilly, but bright start to the day and as we went up for bridal prep. It’s always nerve wracking when see someone you know at a wedding, but it’s much more so when everyone there happens to be family! However, I am incredibly lucky that my family are super warm, loving and supportive. The girls were so relaxed and all hands were on deck with hair and make up from the wonderful team at Elegant Beauty and Hair Even with hair rollers in, Sarah looked beautiful!

It wasn’t long until I hopped off to the boys room for groom prep. Frank, his son Ryan and his Best Man Ryan, were joined by Sarah’s brother Jake for their morning preparations. Would you believe they were watching Loose Women to kick start their wedding morning? I am led to believe that they had a CRAZY one the night before, from which Frank sported a very dashing cut to his face. Nice one! Also, the story of the day on Loose Women was about a crazy photographer who had shown up drunk as a turd to shoot this couple's wedding ...

It was all so mellow! The perfect way to start your wedding day. It wasn’t long until guests started arriving and filling the venue. A mixture of army lads and my family! Oh boy, Swynford Manor didn’t know what was going to hit them. After everyone had sat down, you could hear Frank saying that he wasn’t sure if he was going to cry or not. As soon as Frank clocked eyes on Sarah looking radiant, he was gone.

Did somebody say here comes the Keith?

The ceremony went ahead and the rings were given by Frank’s son, who was happy to be a special part of the wedding. The vows were sealed with a fist bump and a cheeky kiss! Followed by a VERY loud, army cheer and the bellows of “KEITH, KEITH, KEITH!!!” Sarah’s pet name.

We quickly shimmied outside for group photos, where Sarah got the chance to show off her new “Mrs Mckenzie” denim jacket! (which was bloody awesome). After that we moved on to do some couple shots and these two did not disappoint! There is something so striking about seeing two people who are totally at ease in one another’s company. They laughed and goofed around, as well as looking very charming!

As Frank and Sarah entered their reception, there was a roar of applause and cheers that echoed through the venue! The party had definitely arrived. Speeches were kept to Frank and his best man Ryan and they were wonderful. We’re actually loving these heartfelt declarations at the moment. People just genuinely being grateful. Frank spoke so beautifully about Sarah, he spoke of her incredible heart and how she had changed his and Ryan’s lives and it hit all of the feels.

It went off!

Food was served and then it was time to gear up for some serious party time! We took the opportunity to sneak Frank and Sarah off for a few cheeky pictures in the dark! Because we love to be a little crazy and creative where we can. As we hurriedly came back inside from a chilly few minutes out in the elements, it was time for the first dance. Full of twirls, hugs and a little questionable slut dropping on Frank’s behalf, the party was in full swing!

Soon after the DJ played the first song, the band came up and played cracking Scar tunes and when I say it went off, it went OFF. Tops were off, ties were on heads, shots were poured and poured. It was bloody wonderful!
